This solution has significant advantages in comparison with other technologies. Firstly it dramatically reduces the add-on weight which is in the order of grams versus the kilograms offered by other technologies. This reduction is critical for certain aviation applications in which aero-navigability and weight are strong operating constraints. Secondly as it is embedded within regular paints or other materials, such as, fiber glass and foams, it allows its application not only on new elements but also in existing retrofit market. Last but not least, it offers a unique durability, in the order of years, significantly decreasing the operations costs.

Micromag technology is based on metallic fibers that can be embedded in different substrates, ie. coatings, and then, applied to reduce the radar cross section of any platform. For example in the Defense Space the technology can be applied to a wide range of platforms including as Ships, Planes, Submarines and Ballistics.
Micromag technology is fully commercial and our manufacturing capabilities and R&D Center are located in Spain.
Micromag solutions are available embedded in regular paints, as well as, in flexible foams and acrylic canvasses or rigid products, such as glass fibers or plastics.
